Note from the Artist
A friend of mine has a camera set up in her garden to capture the movements of the foxes that live near her. I love to watch the comings and goings of the adults and the cubs as they play and grow in a world so close to ours, yet still mostly hidden.
My daintily refined red copper fox with a sterling silver bib and tail tip is my interpretation of this elegant creature, and every fox is hand-sawn so each has its own personality.
The fox measures about 23mm, and the sterling silver chain is about 18" in length.
Please bear in mind that each item is handmade, therefore variations in texture are all part of their charm.

🌿 Copper is used in many of these pieces and can be left heat-treated or polished. All copper elements are coated in a lacquer to prevent or slow down oxidation.
DELIVERY
All items are custom-made upon order confirmation and will take between one and two weeks for delivery. Where stock is available, it will be dispatched within seven days.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Store in a box when you're not wearing it to minimise surface tarnish.
- Polish silver with a microfibre cloth to remove tarnish from the surface.
- Apply creams and perfume and allow them to absorb before putting on your jewellery. If it gets onto your jewellery wash in mild soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Remove your jewellery before bathing or swimming, and especially in hot tubs.
- Take extra care when cleaning around stones.
- Silver will tarnish over time but on some people it will darken quicker simply due to natural oils in the skin or products used on the skin.
- Copper is notorious for both tarnishing and for turning green. The tarnish can be cleaned with a copper cleaner, or with lemon juice and salt. The green, Verdigris, happens with moisture contact, it is not toxic and will wash off of skin with soap and water, copper can be coated with clear metal lacquer to give a barrier.
