Introducing the Military Slide belt

The Filly & Fox Military slide belt is a timeless trench style.  Handcrafted from premium English bridle leather. Featuring a stainless steel centre slide pin buckle,  this heritage-style belt was originally designed for durability and strength, first issued to troops during the First and Second World Wars.

Known for its robust construction, the Military Slide belt kept heavy wool and tweed trench coats secure under the harshest conditions.  The quick slide-release offered flexible wear in crouched and cramped conditions and was designed for comfort. The design ensured it could be removed or put on effortlessly.  Today, its iconic design lives on as a vintage army surplus fashion staple, often discovered in antique markets and vintage fairs.

This woman's Military slide belt is shown here in our signature Newmarket Tan bridle leather, made using UK-certified farm-traceable hides, 100% full-grain and vegetable pit-tanned using natural bark extracts. paired with the original, Stainless hardware is hand-cast and polished, completing the belt’s authentic look.
